The people and schools we work with
A student does their best work when the adults around them are pulling in the same direction. At AVRO, that means working closely with your family, and it means partnering with schools abroad so more students can earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Partnering with your family
You know your teen better than anyone, so your read on what is working stays central to how we plan the year. From your first visit through every report and check-in, we keep you in the loop and treat you as part of the team. When it helps, we also coordinate with the clinicians, tutors, and counsellors already supporting your teen, so the school day and the support around it point the same way.
Partnering with schools abroad
We work with international schools and their staff so students can graduate with the OSSD.
Built around your staff
We work with you and your teachers to shape a program that fits your students, granting equivalent credits for work they have already completed so they can enter the Grade 11 year of the Ontario system.
A respected curriculum
The OSSD is consistently ranked among the top programs worldwide. We build on it with courses that use real-world examples, interactive media, and hands-on activities to teach the skills students need for higher education.
A path to top universities
Graduates earn the internationally recognized OSSD and apply to universities in Canada, the UK, Australia, the United States, and beyond with six Grade 12 university preparation courses matched to their interests.
Our international partner school
We are proud to work alongside the following partner school.
Canadian International Institute Dhaka (CIID)
Dhaka, Bangladesh. Located at Haq’s Plaza, 26 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka 1213. Through this partnership, students in Dhaka can work toward the same Ontario Secondary School Diploma our Toronto students earn.
Interested in partnering with AVRO?
Whether you are a school abroad exploring the OSSD pathway, or a clinician, tutor, or community organization who works with teens who learn differently, we would love to hear from you. Tell us a little about your students and we will find the right way to work together.
